Frequently asked questions
What sizes do the FINIS Positive Drive Fins come in?
They come in a full range of five sizes — XS (Euro 31–33), S (Euro 34–35), M (Euro 36–37), L (Euro 38–40) and XL (Euro 41–43) — so they suit younger swimmers right through to adults.
Are Positive Drive Fins good for breaststroke?
Yes. Their short, asymmetrical blade is designed for multi-directional kicking, which makes them one of the few training fins genuinely suited to breaststroke and individual medley (IM) work, as well as freestyle, backstroke and butterfly.
Are these fins suitable for children?
They are. Starting at XS (Euro 31–33, roughly UK 12–1), they're ideal for youth swimmers as well as teens and adults building kick strength and technique.
How are Positive Drive Fins different from normal swim fins?
Unlike long, floppy fins, the short curved blade promotes a natural, propulsive kick and helps develop proper leg motion and ankle flexibility rather than doing the work for you — so you build genuine strength and better technique. See more swim training gear to pair with them.
How do I look after them?
Rinse with fresh water after each use, allow to air dry, and store in a cool, dry place out of direct sunlight. Made from 100% premium silicone, they're durable enough for daily training.
